WakeProof — Privacy Policy

Prove You're Awake.

Last updated: October 2026

Overview

WakeProof ("we", "us", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. WakeProof is designed to be offline-first — your alarm data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable optional features like crash reporting.

Data We Store Locally

All of this data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. It is NOT uploaded to any server.

Permissions We Request

Each permission is requested only when the feature that needs it is activated.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Google Play Billing

If you purchase a Premium subscription, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive a confirmation of the purchase (product ID and purchase date) to enable your Premium features. We do NOT see or store your payment details — Google handles all payment processing.

Optional Analytics & Crash Reporting

If enabled, Firebase Crashlytics may collect anonymous crash logs to help us fix bugs. This is opt-in and can be disabled at any time in Settings. Crash reports do not include personal data.

Data Deletion

You can delete your wake-up history at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy → Clear History. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data permanently.

Children's Privacy

WakeProof is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
